Rare amiibo

amiibo shortages have been rampant and a common issue for Nintendo collectors and gamers. It may come as a relief, then, that Nintendo of America recently announced on their Twitter page that they will be restocking the Little Mac, Greninja, Shulk, Lucario, Fox, and Captain Falcon amiibo “soon.” Currently, no date has been set for their shipment, but Nintendo promises that select retailers will be stocking them shortly.

About Justin Kersey

My name is Justin, and I graduated from Ball State University with a degree in history. The long tale of my love for gaming began when my dad brought a Super Nintendo to our house in the ancient year of 1992. I played Mario Paint, Super Mario World, and Donkey Kong Country in my early years. My love for games only grew when I got a Game Boy and Sega Genesis in the mid 90s. Before I knew it, I was in college watching youtubers like the Angry Video Game Nerd, applying my love of video games to my love for history. Soon, I began collecting as many video games as I could. My favorite genres are JRPGs, open-world survival games, and adventure games.

It looks they have been restocking those amiibo as I have seen some in my local area starting today on the 1st of October.

Let’s just say that my local Toys R Us already did, and also already is out. I went to get Ganondorf on Wednesday… and they had Mac, Falcon, Greninja, and Lucario. It was almost like walking into another dimension… a dimension where they haven’t been rare for months. I mean, they did also have a ton of commons, and I would mention that they also were setting up even more shelf space for Amiibo, so I am guessing they were expecting even more. (Or perhaps already had even more, but considering how understaffed that store is, probably didn’t have time to set them out.)
