Square Enix revealed Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapters Prologue at the SCEJA Press Conference at TGS 2015. It will be a collection of three remakes: Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, Kingdom Hearts [chi] Back Cover, and Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-.

The set will release on PS4.

    So it’s a collection of side games? It seems like it would have been better to port Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 over, since they aren’t playable on the PS4, or at least bring this II.8 to the PS3, where the other two remakes are playable.

    Only one of these three titles is a port. Dream Drop Distance is being ported from the 3DS, but X [chi] Back Cover and 0.2 Birth By Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage- are completely new. Back Cover is a new cinematic movie, and 0.2 is a playable prologue to KHIII.

      No, pretty sure A Fragmentary Passage was in BbS Final Mix as a hidden thing

      A Fragmentary Passage was the name of the Secret Episode in the Birth By Sleep Final Mix, but 0.2 Birth By Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage- is completely new and not the same thing. So saith Square Enix themselves.

      I have my doubts about that. Why would they name it the same thing as a previous secret episode if it’s not the same thing? It doesn’t really make sense to me.
