Good news for fans of the Sword Art Online video games! RPG Site’s twitter account has reported a North American release date of November 17, 2015 for Bandai-Namco’s upcoming PS4 and PS Vita title, Sword Art Online: Lost Song. The game is a sequel to 2014’s Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, which was initially released on the PS Vita but has since received a PS4 makeover. In the game, you follow the adventures of series’ protagonist Kirito and his friends as they take part in the excitement and spectacle of a MMORPG called ”Alfheim Online’. Fans of the anime and novel series know that Alfheim is the virtual setting for an MMO, where the characters get into trouble, fight monsters and find companionship and romance while working together to resolve some in-game problem caused by players that will end up having real world consequences if they don’t intervene somehow.

Preorders of Sword Art Online: Lost Song for PS4 will receive a free digital copy of Sword Art Online: RE Hollow Fragment (the PS4 enhanced edition) as a special thank you for showing your support and loyalty. Time for this writer to break out the plastic!
