We here at oprainfall could not continue to do our jobs in spreading news, reviews, opinions, and so much more without the continued support of our volunteers. Currently we are advertising for a couple of different volunteer positions. Check the list below (and the detailed information below that) to see if either of these positions feel like the right fit for you.
- Assistant Manager to help with various tasks
- Project Lead to conduct interviews with publishers and developers
Just a Few Advantages of Volunteering for oprainfall:
Is your resume looking a bit thin?
You can add your time spent here to any professional resume. I personally have gotten two different jobs from having oprainfall on my resume, and I know many of my fellow volunteers have done so as well. Both positions we are advertising for are positions that look great on any resume!
Do you find yourself bored and getting into things you shouldn’t?
It is far better to spend your time hanging out with like minded folks around here, being productive, than sitting around being bored..or worse! I’m half kidding here but oprainfall really is a great place to spend your spare time.
Access to a great network of individuals who enjoy the same things you do!
Everyone at oprainfall enjoys what we do. We all have a love for video games and/or anime. We love discussing it with each other and with our readers! The discussions around here range from favorite character, which platform is better for which genre of game… or who could kick whose ass in a Smash tournament. We have discussions and debates about just about everything around here. It is truly a fun environment that allows each of us an outlet for our creative side.
All of this is in addition to the obvious things like getting your name out there, having a chance for your opinions to be seen by thousands of readers, and gaining a bit of experience.
More about available positions:
Hi. I’m Crystal. I am a Manager for oprainfall who has a bit too much to do! My current duties (aside from writing) include dealing with any and all staff concerns as Head of Human Resources, and training all new volunteers. As if those things weren’t enough I also head up a series called Building Character, and do about 20 other things when I have time.
I am looking for someone to assist me with a little bit of everything but mainly staying organized. Interested applicants should shoot me an email to apply or if they would like a bit more information. I promise this position isn’t as boring as it sounds! Assistant Managers can head up their own projects, have earlier access to the review team, and are involved with some decisions about the site.
NOTE: Whoever applies for this position should have great attention to detail, be flexible about things (willing to go with the flow)…. and probably be slightly crazy.
Send an email to email@example.com to apply or ask for more information for this position today and take full advantage of being an Assistant Manager at oprainfall.
Project Lead for Interviews:
Have you always wanted to find out a bit more about how a game/anime came to be? Maybe you want to find out why something was edited while other parts weren’t? Either way as an interviewer for oprainfall you will be able to ask the questions you have always wanted the answers to.
Whoever applies for this position should be willing and able to interact with publishers and developers in a non boring but professional manner. Interviews will likely be conducted via email or other approved outlet that you suggest.
NOTE: Questions must be approved before hand but all questions within reason will be approved.
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to apply for this position today and start asking the questions we all want answers to.
DISCLAIMER: All positions are volunteer, non-paying positions. We make no promises of any compensation or incentives. All material made for oprainfall and used on the website becomes the property of oprainfall. Volunteers can be released at any time at the discretion of management.
