Dissidia Final Fantasy | oprainfallSquare Enix put on its Closed Conference livestream of Dissidia Final Fantasy, the latest in the Dissidia spin-off series from the mainline Final Fantasy franchise. During the stream, they said there would be 14 playable characters upon its release, in contrast to the 50 playable characters which was previously reported by Japanese games media. However, Square Enix does plan to have that amount of characters in the game eventuall,y by applying them as updates over time. So far, seven characters have been confirmed for Dissidia Final Fantasy:

  • Warrior of Light (Final Fantasy I)
  • Onion Knight (Final Fantasy III)
  • Terra Branford (Final Fantasy VI)
  • Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy VII)
  • Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII)
  • Y’Shtola (Final Fantasy XIV)
  • Ramza Beoulve (Final Fantasy Tactics)
