You will soon be able to play through history on the Wii U with Life of Pixel. The Super Icon platform game is in its final development stage with the Nintendo Lotcheck so as to be available on the Nintendo store.
Life of Pixel features over 100 levels from 13 classic 8- and 16-bit graphic consoles ranging from the Atari 2600, to Apple II and GameBoy.
In the game, you play as Pixel, a curious protagonist on his way to discover the origin of all pixels. Armed with special power-ups and a bunch of different tricks, you can experience gaming history and nods to classic games such as Pitfall, Zelda, Metroid, and Sonic the Hedgehog.
