J-Stars Victory VS Feature

IGN has released a couple of videos showing off  the first English gameplay of J-Stars Victory VS+, and I got to say the action looks intense. The videos below show off some of the Shonen Jump cast duking it out in some crazy fast paced battles.

You can check out both videos below, and be sure to leave us a comment letting us know what you think about this frantic fighter. J-Stars Victory VS+ will release on the PS3, PS4, and Vita in the summer.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.

Any word on what cast members will be cut in America?
If certain one’s are out so am I.

    • Justin Patterson

I don’t think any characters are cut. There are only subtitles, no english voices, so it’s not like they had to find voice actors for anyone or anything like that.

It’s more of a licensing thing, they said before, that diffrent regions may wind up missing 1 or 2 characters. Im hoping we do get all of the cast, but yeah.

This game was horrifically broken and just not all that fun to play. I hope this version has made enough changes and tweaks to really improve, because this game had some true potential.
