Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS Logo

If you’ve been waiting to get a good look at how the newest Super Smash Bros. game is going to look on the 3DS, wait no longer! Nintendo has given us more than twenty screenshots showing off Super Smash Bros. on the 3DS. The screenshots show off quite a few characters, from Link and Fox to Sonic and Kirby. So far, it looks like the game is going to look pretty snazzy on the 3DS and is sure to be a lot of fun. Be sure to check out the screenshots:

The latest Super Smash Bros. game, officially titled Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, is due for release sometime this year. Somewhat unsurprisingly, based on the title, the game will be released on both the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U—but will not feature cross-platform play between the two consoles. While a lot of our old favorites like Zelda and Captain Olimar will be in the game, we also get to welcome quite a few new faces to the series. So far, we know that Rosalina & Luma, Mega Man, the Wii Fit Trainer, and the Villager from Animal Crossing will be among the new playable characters. The Wii Fit Trainer and Rosalina are both pictured in the latest screenshots. It was also revealed recently that Skull Kid will appear as an assist trophy in the game.

With the game being released sometime this year, there’s sure to be more news soon. If you’re looking for weekly updates on the game, you’ll definitely want to check out Josh Speer‘s awesome Smashing Saturdays series for all the latest details. And as always, be sure to stay tuned to oprainfall for all the big updates.
