Even though we’re still three weeks away from Halloween, this Nintendo Download has a rather ghostly feel to it. There is, of course, the Bayonetta 2 Demo that we reported on earlier. There is also a new Castlevania game in the Wii U Virtual Console, Circle of the Moon. And then there’s PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures 2 from Bandai Namco.

Meanwhile, a number of games are now on sale. Guacamelee and Gravity Badgers lead the list of discounts for this week. Over on the 3DS, Enjoy Up, Cypronia and Teyon are having sales on many of their games.

The next few weeks are shaping up to be pretty exciting. Next week gives us three new Virtual Console titles in Harvest Moon 2 for the 3DS and Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow for the Wii U. The following week will then feature the full release of Bayonetta 2, the long awaited 3DS release of Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, and the North American release of Fantasy Life. Then on November 4th comes the release of Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley, Natsume’s self-developed farming simulation game. And during that time, we hope to see games like Costume Quest 2 and Citizens of Earth release on the eShop.

You can check out the full press release here. Also, be sure to check out the gallery of releases below.

  • Well I was considering picking up Circle of the Moon, but now that I know Aria is a week away (AND HARVEST MOON 2!), I think I’ll wait for the prime pickings.
