Club Nintendo Rewards - July 2014 | oprainfall

It’s that time again: Nintendo has released new Club Nintendo rewards today. It’s honestly a little disappointing, given that this is the end of the rewards cycle, but there’s still at least one must-have gem in there.

Paper Mario (Wii Virtual Console)– 250 coins

The beloved RPG that started the series, the original N64 Paper Mario is available for 250 coins. If you have that, and haven’t played the game before, you should download this one as soon as possible. Paper Mario is not only the best RPG on the N64, but one of the best RPGs of that generation. Any fan of RPGs or Mario will love it.

Donkey Kong Jr. (Wii U Virtual Console) – 200 coins

The sequel to the arcade classic, Donkey Kong Jr. stars the titular ape, rather than Mario. In fact, Mario is now holding Donkey Kong hostage, and it’s up to Donkey Kong Jr. to save him.

3D Classics: Kid Icarus (3DS) – 200 coins

The 3D Classics version of Kid Icarus is the best one hands down, but it still may not be for everyone. If you’re interested, it is worth the 200 coins though.

Metal Torrent (DSiWare) – 200 coins

This one has a bit of a dubious reputation. Unless you’re really into shoot-‘em-ups, you can probably skip this one.

That’s it for this month. Let’s do this again in August.

About Guy Rainey

I’m Guy Rainey. I’m a hardcore Nintendo fan, a PC enthusiast, and a Sony sympathizer. Also an amateur/aspiring game creator. I love any game that puts story as the main focus of the game, so that means JRPGs are my favorite genre almost by default.
