ABZU | E3 2014

During the PlayStation E3 Press Conference today, Sony announced a striking new game for the PlayStation 4 entitled ABZU. The gameplay trailer depicts an explorer journeying through the deep sea and features some absolutely gorgeous artwork. Be sure to check out the trailer below so you might enjoy the breathtaking environments that ABZU has to offer. The game will launch on the PlayStation 4, but no release date was given with the announcement.

ABZU is being developed by Giant Squid, and is their debut title. Giant Squid is a studio that was founded by Journey art director Matt Nava. This comes as no surprise, as the game certainly seems to be reminiscent of Journey, featuring beautiful art direction, a focus on exploration, and a gorgeous soundtrack. It certainly looks to be a game that fans of Journey and other similar titles will not want to miss.
