Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z features a massive multi-form boss fight .
A new batch of screenshots for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z has been released. The screens prominently feature a boss battle with a towering stone golem that has multiple forms, a massive stone sword, and screen-filling projectile attacks. The screens also help show off the impressive cel-shaded graphical style that is quite stunning in spite of the grotesque nature of the enemies you’ll be facing. For example, the stone golem has red patches all over it that actually look like muscle sinews!
It will be interesting to see if this spin-off of the Ninja Gaiden series can satisfy both series veterans and newcomers alike. Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z comes out for PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 18 in North America and March 21 in Europe. A PC version will be available worldwide March 21.
