Guided Fate Cross Thesis | oprainfall

After announcing a sequel to The Guided Fate Paradox last week, Nippon Ichi has just released some new details and assets for The Guided Fate: Cross Thesis Awakening. When the game was announced, we knew it was going to be released for the PlayStation 3 in Japan this July. The plot of the game centers around the protagonist, who must make the “ultimate choice” between the two heroines. Whichever heroine he does not choose will die. Unlike it’s predecessor, The Guided Fate: Cross Thesis Awakening will feature new 3D graphics.

Along with the assets that were released today (check them out in the gallery below), we also got some new information about the game. The protagonist has been transformed into God himself in order to save his life, putting the fate of others in his hands. As such, he has the ability to make the “ultimate choice” which will occur at several points. The outcome of his choice will be a matter of life and death for those involved. We also received some new information on the two heroines who are central to the plot:

The Guided Fate: Cross Thesis Awakening | Jupiel Soraumi

Jupiel Soraumi

Jupiel acts as the protagonist’s personal angel, and is absolutely loyal to him. She is a member of the Powers, which makes her one of the strongest fighters in Heaven. She’s very serious as well as a hard worker. She looks up to her sister who is an archangel and aspires to be like her.

The Guided Fate: Cross Thesis Awakening | Arle Agarie

Arle Agarie

Arle is a devil, but she has been granted the privilege of free movement in Heaven as it was her research that was able to turn the protagonist into God and save his life. She has little interest in the conflict between angels and devils and is focused almost completely on her research. She can be described as prideful and narcissistic.

Although there’s no news about whether or not this game will be localized for the West, we can certainly keep our fingers crossed, especially since we did get The Guided Fate Paradox. But now is as good a time as ever to start asking yourself, what will your ultimate choice be? Which heroine will you save?
