An update for SOULCALIBUR II HD Online is here. It will focus mainly on online matching. Things like new filters have been added and your search settings will be saved until the console is rebooted. A communication quality meter is now displayed next to user ID’s and a rematch option is available during Online Free Match Mode. For complete details check out the press release below.

SOULCALIBUR II HD ONLINE GETS A NEW UPDATE!

Released on September 2003, SoulCalibur II has been celebrated over the years as one of the best fighting-games ever! On November 2013, 10 years later, NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe launched an enhanced version in order to celebrate this piece of art: SoulCalibur II HD Online!

Taking advantage of all the current generation consoles capacities, this game has been offering to all its fans hours of online gameplay with high definition graphics! As a company close to its consumers, NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe decided to release a new patch in order to make the Online gaming experience even better:

  • Online Matching Service Improvements
    • Improved Matching Filters (Search an opponent by region)
    • Online matching search settings are now saved until the console is rebooted
    • Rematch option can now be chosen during Online Free Match Mode
    • Communication quality meter is now displayed next to opponent’s ID
  • Bug fixes
    • Cervantes crash bug has been fixed
    • Fixed bugs on several characters

SoulCalibur II HD Online is available for PlayStation®3 via PlayStation®Network and on XBOX 360 via Xbox Marketplace in Europe and Australasia.
