To celebrate today’s announcement of the last Guild01 game, Weapon Shop de Omasse, Level-5 has put their entire Guild series of downloadable games on sale. All of the games are available on the 3DS eShop at over 50% off until February 23. The specific games on sale and their prices are listed below:

  • Liberation Maiden – $2.99
  • Aero Porter – $2.99
  • Crimson Shroud – $2.99
  • Attack of the Friday Monsters – $2.99
  • Bugs vs. Tanks – $2.99
  • The Starship Damrey – $2.99

The Guild series is a collection of six (soon to be seven) unrelated games produced exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS by Level-5 with the help of different video game designers. Notable contributors to the series include Keiji Inafune (Mega Man, Bugs vs. Tanks), Yasumi Matsuno (Final Fantasy Tactics, Crimson Shroud), and Suda-51 (No More Heroes, Liberation Maiden). The release of Weapon Shop de Omasse will conclude the series.

About Max Keil

Former Staff. Let me break down my life for you real quick. I am almost always playing games. When I'm not playing games I'm writing about games. When I'm not writing about games I'm running. When I'm running I'm usually wishing I were playing games instead. I can't tell you how excited I am to write for you all here at oprainfall.

Can anyone advise if these are really good games to get? Seems like an excellent deal, but I don’t know.

    • Liberation Maiden for more action. Crimson Shroud for more literally tabletop RPG. Attack of the Friday Monsters for a charming simple card game with a weird story. I’m probably gonna pick up Bugs vs. Tanks.

I know that there are those who don’t like Aero Porter, but I find it quite enjoyable and relaxing experience to be a baggage sorter in an airport (at least in video game form). As for me, the only game I haven’t purchased is Bugs vs Tanks, which got mediocre reviews, but still probably is pretty great when compared to a lot of other games out there.

Note- Avoid Liberation Maiden if you’re left-handed. Its pretty hard to enjoy properly when you’re struggling with basic controls but aren’t given the option to change them.

    • Jeff Neuenschwander

I’m a lefty and I enjoyed Liberation Maiden.

  • Andy Na

I already have Liberation Maiden from a previous sale, but these prices are far more appealing. I wouldn’t want want to skip out on this.

  • Ibi Salmon

These prices are amazing! Liberation Maiden is a definite must-buy and The Starship Damrey is more than worth the price now.

Dang, what a sweet sale. Looks like I’ll be picking up Attack of the Friday Monsters and Starship Damrey. Maybe Bugs vs. Tanks, but, eh…

  • TrueWiiMaster

Thanks to this sale I have all the Guild games except the widely disliked Bugs vs. Tanks. Weapon Shop looks great, so I’ll be getting that eventually too. Is there any chance of a Guild03?
