The holiday season is upon us once again. You’ve probably been spending time with family and friends, doing some last-minute Christmas Decemberween shopping, or both. That’s got to take a lot out of you. Why not relax with a few Decemberween-themed commercials courtesy of the Operation Rainfall Retro Commercial Research Team (in other words, me)? Sit by the fireplace and enjoy these festive commercials in this week’s Special Wrap-Up.

Even this game got a Decemberween commercial, amazingly enough. One can only imagine how many kids were severely disappointed on Decemberween day.

Nintendo had a new Nintendo Direct this past week! Some of the highlights include the localization for Chibi-Robo: Photo Finder, Rosalina and Luma becoming a playable character in the upcoming Smash Bros. game, and Nintendo teaming up with Tecmo Koei for an interesting game tentatively titled Hyrule Warriors.

Speaking of which, Jonathan Higgins takes the opportunity to ease the fears of people who think Hyrule Warriors will suck.

Atlus revealed some new details about the upcoming North American release of Conception II, including what the Collector’s Edition of the game will include.

Josh Speer does another Top 10 Mega Man list. This time, he’s listing the cutest characters from the franchise.

Square-Enix announces the release date for the upcoming Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster.
