European souls will reignite when Soulcalibur II HD Online comes out next month. Namco Bandai Games Europe has announced that the HD port of Soulcalibur II will be released on November 20th for European territories on PlayStation 3 (£14.99 via PSN) and Xbox 360 (£13.49 via Xbox Live).

Released back in 2003 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube, Soulcalibur II is a 3D, weapon-based fighting title. It revolves around two powerful swords, and every character’s story arc focuses on their plans to either destroy them or control them. Put any two of them in the same room and sparks fly (mainly from steel grinding up on steel.) In addition to a graphics update, Soulcalibur II HD Online will also have online versus.

About Karli Winata

Karli Winata is an avid gamer with a taste for a little bit of everything. Except for sports games. And racing sims. And definitely not hidden object games! I guess everything is too broad a term. Suffice it to say that he has been known to play hours of Call of Duty multiplayer in between bouts of Persona fusing and Star Coin collecting while saving the world/galaxy through sensibly bald space marines or plucky teenagers with impossible hairstyles. Where does he find the time to write about them?

Still bummed that there’s no Wii U version with Link in it. Heck, even without Link in it.

I still remember when the game was first announced, and was supposed to be a Gamecube exclusive.

Is there any word on North American release date?
