Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode

NOTE: This article is from the oprainfall Campaign Hub, written by an independent campaign, and hosted on the oprainfall website. The opinions herein may not represent the opinions of oprainfall.

Our petition (http://www NULL.change NULL.org/petitions/namco-bandai-games-europe-america-localize-digimon-world-re-digitize-decode-for-3ds) has recently reached 14.000 signatures! This is really a huge achievement, as we started our campaign just two months ago. We are now big enough to take our movement to the next level. In case the signatures on the petition were not enough for them, we are going to show Namco Bandai that we want Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode by reaching their official communities! We will try to convince them by posting our reasons on their forums.

I will now explain to you the rules. They are quite simple.

Note: this is for European, Australasian and non-American people ONLY.

  1. Login on the official Namco Bandai Games Europe (http://www NULL.uk NULL.namcobandaigames NULL.eu/) website;
    • In case you do not have an account, you can easily make one with your Facebook/Google/Twitter profile. Simply click on “Login” in the upper-right angle of the screen; click on your favourite profile and login; choose an username, accept the terms of use and finally click on “Create my account”.
  2. Go to this thread (http://www NULL.uk NULL.namcobandaigames NULL.eu/community/topics/operation-decode-official-thread-tell-namco-bandai-you-want-digimon-world-re-digitize-decode-localized) on the Namco Bandai UK official forum.
  3. Post a comment by following the rules you find in the first post.
    • Simply write a new comment specifying your name (you may simply write just your first name and the first letter of your family name, if you don’t want to write your full name), your country (UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Australia, etc) and a brief reason why you want this game localized. You will find an example in the first post. When you are done, simply click on “Post” to send the message.

Always remember to be POLITE and RESPECTFUL. We want to show our passion as fans, so please be positive and do not be offensive.

As for American fans, the Namco Bandai Games NA forums are currently offline. But do not worry: when they will finally be live again, we will do exactly the same thing on the American forum, too. You just have to be patient, we will publish a new post when that will be possible. In the meantime, you can enjoy Digimon Fusion that started airing on Nickelodeon last week!

If you have not signed our petition (http://www NULL.change NULL.org/petitions/namco-bandai-games-europe-america-localize-digimon-world-re-digitize-decode-for-3ds) yet, you are still invited to do it, obviously! We have to reach at least 30.000 signatures. Just remember to also do what we just explained. It is really important, so please take five minutes of your time to do these two simple things. Please join our Facebook (https://www NULL.facebook NULL.com/OperationDecode) page and follow us on Twitter (https://twitter NULL.com/OperationDecode) and Tumblr (http://operationdecode NULL.tumblr NULL.com/)!

Thank you so much for all your help! Viva Digimon!

About OPERATIONDECODE

Our goal as a campaign is to convince Bandai Games to consider the localization of Digimon games in the West. At present, our main focus is on "Digimon World Re: Digitize Decode" for 3DS and "Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth" for PSVita. We initially started as a Twitter campaign, with the hashtag #OperationDecode, then opened an online petition on 12 July 2013. Our target is to reach the highest number of supporters possible, and to increase the awareness about these games.
