Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies

Phoenix Wright fans rejoice: there’s some downloadable content coming your way for the 3DS title Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. The DLC will be made available for fans in the West to purchase upon the game’s release. This includes both a costume pack and a new playable episode called “Turnabout Return.” While this isn’t the physical copy of the game that some fans are still hoping for despite Capcom’s defense of its exclusively digital release, it’s an exciting addition nonetheless. It’s unclear as of yet if the Deduction Quiz DLC made available in Japan will also be brought to the West eventually.

Featured below are a few samples of what players will receive with the costume pack:

This new addition to the Ace Attorney lineup is due out in Western territories sometime this fall via the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

  • Awesome. Now, release date Capcom pls.

  • Kyle Emch

I’m going to get that case DLC just based on the premise alone.

  • Xanedis

Wow, does the 3D look nifty in this game. Gotta get this :D.

  • Roberto Ruiz Contreras

Im waiting for them to make the Phoenix Wright Collection of at least the first 3 games (preferably all 4 or 6 with Miles) on the 3DS

  • James Best

I’m not too keen on costume packs, but a new episode sounds awesome!

  • Take That

Why would anyone rejoice over Capcom DLC? If they had bundled it in the insulting digital-only release, sure, but they’re in full classic Capcom gouge mode.

The series up until this point had no DLC. We got the complete games. Now we’re not. How could anyone be happy about such an abomination?
