Could this be a polished up version of the 30 minute drama that acts as a prologue to FFX-2? I think that the only way to get it in NA was to get the issue of Official Playstation Magazine that had the FFX-2 demo and drama on its packed-in disc. I remember watching the prologue movie and actually enjoying it when it came out, so I bought the disc off of e-bay last year. In short, the story focuses on Yuna being shown the sphere vid of the Titus look alike… the same sphere vid that you have in your inventory at the start of FFX-2. This spurs her into going sphere hunting. I think that Payne is introduced in the video, so that could be the “new cast” that is mentioned.

I wouldn’t mind an HD version of it as the original suffered from compression issues and didn’t exactly look crisp when I played it on a 27inch HDTV. It would be even cooler if it turns out to be an entirely new drama, though.

I think it was alo included with the game “unlimited saga”, but I might be wrong.

I did some research. It turns out that “Eternal Calm” was indeed included in the Collectors Edition of Unlimited SaGa in NA and EU… I know I own that game, but I should probably check to see which edition it is…

On another note, “Eternal Calm” is apparently only 14 minutes long… starting to sound more like we are getting a new drama. 🙂 I do hope that they Include “Eternal Calm” in HD as well. It is part of the story, after all.

That… actually sounds pretty interesting. I’m not a fan of FF10 by any means, but I’m very interested in seeing what this turns out to be.
