Square Enix revealed today that Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be delayed from its original September 2013 release to being released in the US on February 11th, 2014, and in Europe on February 14th, 2014 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Alongside this release date change, Square Enix also revealed this shiny, new E3 trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

It was also revealed that a new ultimate box set containing all three games in the Final Fantasy XIII series (on PlayStation 3), a special edition Lightning figurine, a soundtrack CD for each game, and a special edition art book. Plus, they revealed a special edition Final Fantasy XIII PlayStation 3 controller. However, this Ultimate Box is only set for release so far in Japan.

I personally think this is really cool and I hope it comes to North America. Then again, I was one of those strange people who actually liked Final Fantasy XIII. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII releases on February 11th, 2014 in North America, and February 14th, 2013 in Europe.
