And it’s another drop in this week’s Media Create charts. Consoles are down over 10,000 units. The only noticeable rise comes from the Wii U, seeing a 1,000 unit jump. The 3DS, PS3, and Vita each saw significant drops.
Over on the software side of things, Tomodachi/Friend Collection takes 1st place again with just under 60,000. The game also topped the 1 million mark for physical sales. Shin Megami Tensei IV dropped to 3rd place after going through 80% of initial stock the first few days. It may only go another 100,000 before stopping, given the highest a SMT game has sold is about 380,000 with Soul Hackers‘ Sega Saturn release.
On the Sony side of things, Resident Evil: Revelations leads the way, coming in 2nd. Valhalla Knights 3 also stays in the top half but seems to be leveling off. I was hoping it would sell about as well as the second iteration (about 120,000) but it seems like it might get closer to the first game (about 70,000). Well, at least it’s doing better than Eldar Saga (about 10,000). We’ll see how well it does in the long run.
