In the most recent Shonen Jump, we got confirmation of two more characters who will cross swords in the upcoming crossover tag-team fighting game J-Stars Victory VS. We’ve now got the first in game renders for Ichigo from Bleach and Kenshin from Ruroni Kenshin, who add very nicely to the already announced Toriko, Naruto, Luffy and Goku. J-Stars Victory VS is still in development for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita and there is not a release date yet. There is also no English localization announced.

Kenshin and Ichigo in J-Stars Victory VS

As you may or may not know, Ichigo, the main character of Bleach, is a human turned Soul Reaper who has to defeat Hollows and other supernatural foes, and Kenshin is the protagonist of Ruroni Kenshin, a show about an amazing samurai called the Hitokiri Battosai, or man-slaughterer, who swears off killing after he helps begin the Meiji era. They’re both revered manga and anime, the former being known in America for its run on Adult Swim, the latter being one of Toonami‘s classic shows. For those interested, a subbed version of Bleach streams on Crunchyroll here, and Amazon has Ruroni Kenshin on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Now if we could only get the J-Stars Victory VS team to announce Kuroko…
