Basic Wii U | oprainfallTarget looks to be unloading their Basic Wii U set by slashing $60 off the normal price. We’ve seen various retailers reducing the price of the system several times already since its launch, but $239.99 is quite possibly the lowest done by a major retailer to date.

This sale is accompanied by a slew of other games and systems also being discounted across Nintendo’s, Sony’s and Microsoft’s home consoles, as well as the 3DS (the Vita is not included in the sale). None of them are as drastic a cut as the 20% price reduction of the Basic Wii U, though. The Deluxe Wii U remains at $349.99.

This deal is only for online purchases, and ends on June 1.

About Karli Winata

Karli Winata is an avid gamer with a taste for a little bit of everything. Except for sports games. And racing sims. And definitely not hidden object games! I guess everything is too broad a term. Suffice it to say that he has been known to play hours of Call of Duty multiplayer in between bouts of Persona fusing and Star Coin collecting while saving the world/galaxy through sensibly bald space marines or plucky teenagers with impossible hairstyles. Where does he find the time to write about them?
