Hyrule Historia

Amazon users who pre-ordered the VERY limited edition of Hyrule Historia will be happy to see an e-mail in their inbox, declaring that it will be shipped on February 5th! This is a good week ahead of the planned release date on the 12th. The limited edition has been sold out for some time. However, it is not too late to get your hands on the recently released, non-limited edition version.

About Phil Schipper

Phil N. Schipper joined the Operation Rainfall staff to review Android games, but soon fell in love with writing news articles and Games of the Past. His dream is to make a living writing sci-fi and fantasy novels, which is why he leads the Obscure Authors Alliance in his free time. Still, even in his stories, which usually involve insane people, video games are one of his strongest influences. He describes himself as "a Mr. Nice Guy with a horrible, horrible dark side."

  • I got screwed by Barnes & Noble for my limited edition. At least I still kept my regular edition on pre-order at Amazon. Never pre-ordering from B&N again. At least both editions contain the same content so I’m not that miffed 🙂

  • I was lucky enough to get a preorder in on Amazon for one of these, which is awesome, since the ones sold at the NYC Nintendo Store are going on eBay for like $300 now. I wish I could have gotten the Store’s extras, though.

    • Mine is also “Not Yet Shipped”, but shipping estimate for me is Feb. 12th. I’m a bit worried.

    • Mark

Mine also says Feb. 12th. I wouldn’t be worried about it as long as you haven’t received a cancellation email and that your order is still listed in your account.

  • I preordered the limited edition from Barnes & Nobles, but I was one of the many who had their orders cancelled without noticed in December. However, today, February 12th, I received Hyrule Historia Limited Edition from B&N, even though my order was cancelled and thus never charged to me o_O Guess I’ll keep it sealed while I use my regular version from Amazon.

mine still hasn’t shopped, which is a bummer. luckily they haven’t said it’s cancelled so I hope it ships soon! I’ll be really sad if i can’t get mine as I preordered it back in november :

  • I still haven’t received my limited edition yet from Amazon. It says not
yet shipped with a estimated date from 2-15-13 to 2-20-13 by 8:00PM

  • Kevin

just got an email from amazon that mine was cancelled since they can’t get them from their suppliers……BS!!!!! I had it preordered since November when it was announced.

    • Charlotte Buckingham

It’s probably true though. Their suppliers, Dark Horse Comics, botched it and didn’t print enough copies. They did a similar thing with The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy as well.

  • Dionysian

Despite pre-ordering it on the 27th of November, the instant it was announced, I was told by Amazon today that they are cancelling my order.

To those saying they haven’t got their, check your inboxes. I hope your news is not as devastating as mine.
