Indie Developer Fuzzy Wuzzy Games has been working on Armillo for over a year and it looks like it finally found a home to roll on over to!

Armillo is a platformer game where you control a space armadillo named Armillo collecting energy orbs in maze-like levels. Inspired by games such as Marble Madness and Super Mario Galaxy, Armillo rolls through levels with different gameplay elements such as twin-stick shooting and puzzles.

In the video blog below, Developers Yanni and James explain how they got their game, which was originally being considered for Xbox Live Arcade, to the Wii U eShop.

There’s no release dates at this time, but with this push it might not be too long until we hear something!

  • Awesome to hear that Nintendo is actually going above and beyond for developers with Wii U eShop. Also, I hadn’t heard of this game until now, and now I’m totally stoked for it!

Well Wii U eShop needs more games like this, so I’m excited.

  • Oh man, I LOVED Marble Madness on the NES (when I was like 5 years old). And the Galaxy games are among my favorites too. This sounds sweet. Definitely keeping track of this one.
