Trails in the Sky

It has been revealed that a PlayStation 3 HD version of Legend of Heroes: Trails of the Sky is in the works. Recent Famitsu scans show that the title is stated for a late 2013 release and will cost 3,990 yen.

Legend of Heroes: Trails of the Sky is the first chapter of a popular JRPG trilogy developed by  Falcom. First released on the PC in 2004, it has been remade on the PSP which was released on U.S shores in 2011.

  • it came out in europe too you know……..

why are europeans bieng forgotten 99 out of 100 times

  • I hope XSEED decides to pick this version up as well, I’d love to have a chance to play this game in HD on the PS3.

  • Man Hope XSEED brings this over to our PS3s this would be a day 1 buy for sure.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this game. Sadly I hardly ever touch my PSP anymore and having a home console version would be preferred, so I’ve got my fingers crossed!

Now let’s hope part 2 and 3 of the game get localized… Cuz this game was one of the best RPG’s I’ve played on the PissP.

  • I hope it does well so they release the 2nd and 3rd. And then release it all as a trilogy physical pack here.

But man, 3990 Yen for a 8 year old game? I bet it’s more like they are just adding the stuff from the PSP version in with the original PC resolution assets.

I still need to get around to beating the PSP version. OTL Fantastic game, not sure why I stopped playing.

    • James Mueller

Probably because of PSP claws.  Every time I play mine I can’t go an hour without cramping into some disjointed position.
