The LinkedIn profile of Games Director Armando Soto has revealed that WayForward Technologies is currently working on a multiplatform game for the Wii U, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. It isn’t stated whether this will be a retail title or a downloadable title, but I have a feeling we’ll find out soon enough.

Just as a reminder, there are two confirmed downloadable titles that are coming to the Wii U courtesy of WayForward. The first is Mighty Switch Force HD, a high-def remake of Mighty Switch Force with redrawn sprites and new, exclusive features. The game will be available on the Wii U at launch. The second game is a new Shantae game. WayForward had originally planned this game to be released on the Wii right around its launch, but was pushed back for unknown reasons. Its release date is currently unknown.

About Kyle Emch

Kyle has been studying music at college for about three years now. He's played the piano since he was 6 years old and has been recently been learning how to write music. He has followed the Operation Rainfall movement on Facebook since it started and was happy to volunteer for the website. Just don't mention Earthbound or the Mother franchise around him.
