Oh look, some Vita news! Haven’t had that in a while.

Just Add Water, the developers behind the HD remakes of both OddWorld: Stranger’s Wrath and Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee, were originally going to release these two games on the Vita in June. That didn’t happen. Instead, their release date has been changed to “very soon”, according to their Facebook page.

In addition, they’re asking fans to provide a new name for their Abe’s Oddysee update. Because the game is a “grounds-up remake with glorious 3D graphics but retaining the classic 2D gameplay”, they felt that a new name is in order. You can submit your idea for the new name over here.

I’ve yet to play Abe’s Oddysee at this time of writing, but I’d like it to be called “Swashbuckling Pineapples Dancing On the Moon”. I highly doubt it’ll get picked, but I’d like to see a game with that title.
