Officially announced for Playstation 3

Not long ago, Namco Bandai finally revealed the next game in the ‘Tales of’ series…and it happens to be a sequel to Tales of Xillia, one of the highest selling games in the series for Playstation 3.  Tales of Xillia 2 will take place one year after the original, with the main characters Ludgar Will Crusnick and Elle Mel Marta.  The game features a new weapon shift feature during battle.  It is set to come out sometime during winter in Japan.

This is pretty great news, but a lot of the western Tales fans are still wondering if they are going to get the original Tales of Xillia localized to begin with.  The chances seem pretty high, considering Tales of Xillia was one of the highest selling games in the Tales series in Japan, and we were fortunate enough to see a western release of Tales of Graces f.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed for a localization for Tales of Xillia 1 & 2 for Playstation 3.

Former Volunteer- Clinton started following the movement back when it was still being hosted on the IGN message boards and with the Amazon push of Monado. He’s also an audio engineer, studying in Seattle and waiting for his big break into the world of audio (but not to the detriment of video game writing, of course).
