According to Techtroid, an inside source has  told them that the Wii U game Retro Studios is working on is a new Star Fox  game, and that it will be revealed at E3. Retro is working on a Wii U game and has stated that the game is “a project everyone wants us to do.”  Take this strictly as a rumor but we’ll know soon enough as E3 is less than a month away. We all know how Nintendo loves their surprises.

A HD Star Fox? Yes please!

  • I really wish Nintendo would let Retro work on original content, rather than having them reboot old series.

    Just sayin’

Come on man, it’s Star Fox! There hasn’t been a decent one in years. Though I get  what you  are saying

    • I agree in some ways, but if we get Retro to do a new Starfox, then that is just as good as something new (IMO).

    • Just to clairify, I certainly wouldn’t turn my nose up at a Retro developed Star Fox. I love the series, and despite not being especially fond of Metroid Prime, I recognize their achievements there, and I’m sure they’d do an excellent job with Star Fox.

I just think that, as creators, writers, artists, programmers, etc., they should be given creative freedom, lest they implode.

  • LIKE.  I’ve been waiting for a new, REAL Starfox game, akin to Starfox 64.  Retro on Starfox: Golden.

there is already a Starfox retro game – Starfox 3D, which is a total FAIL imo. The times of plain and stupid rail shooters are over. Assault had some good potential, but offered no real innovation.
