There’s a decent amount of content on both Nintendo consoles in this week’s Nintendo Download. The Wii U’s Virtual Console gets two new NES games in the forms of Metroid and Donkey Kong. While Metroid is $4.99, Donkey Kong is $0.30 as part of the Famicom Anniversary Promotion. This is the last game to be a part of that promotion, so take advantage of this offer while it lasts. This game will be available on July 15th. In addition, Zen Pinball 2 got a new table bundle based on Star Wars, which you can purchase for $9.99.
On the 3DS, Super Mario Bros. 2 for the NES ($4.99) was released on the 3DS Virtual Console. Also, Shin Megami Tensei IV will be available for you to download directly from the eShop for $49.99. Finally, if you register both Shin Megami Tensei IV and Fire Emblem: Awakening through Club Nintendo, you’ll receive $30 in eShop credit. This promotion works whether you decide to get physical copies or digital ones, so you can still pre-order Shin Megami Tensei IV’s lovely first-run edition and get Fire Emblem: Awakening on Amazon, if you haven’t already. This promotion runs from July 16th to August 31st.
