Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl

Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl | oprainfall

Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl offers an incredible level of customization, and with the added storyline and roster of preset characters, it appears to be anything but a simple remake of the first Etrian Odyssey game. Players who do not wish to play through the game with the preset characters, never fear – the game’s Classic Mode will allow you to create and customize your own party to your heart’s desire.

Millennium Girl allows a player’s characters to obtain additional skills they normally wouldn’t be able to learn through the use of “Grimoire” – not only does it offer the chance to let a character learn a skill from another class, it also gives players the opportunity to have their characters learn over 200 skills from enemies as well.

There’s a whole host of other customizable options as well, including an auto-save option, an auto-mapping feature, the ability to choose from three different difficulty settings (Picnic, Standard, and Expert), the option to switch between the classic and the orchestral soundtrack, as well as being able to increase the speed of exploration and battles – all of which can be changed at any time during the game.

Check out the trailer below to see some of Millennium Girl’s gameplay, features, and, near the end, you’ll catch a peek at the game’s Classic Mode:

Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl is set to be released on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on June 27. To check out screenshots, character art, videos and more, check out the game’s official Japanese website.
