The PS Vita continues to boost up its game library. Spike Chunsoft announced a new title for the system, DanganRonpa: Another Episode, at the SCEJA Press Conference 2013. Unlike the previous DanganRonpa titles, this one looks like it’s moving away from the visual novel-styled murder mysteries, replacing it with third-person adventure mechanics. It is unknown why there is the sudden switch in gameplay- but it could be an experiment, as this game does not seem to be part of the mainline series. You can see the trailer below.
The gameplay trailer shown during the event ended with the phrase “and also… 3.” This seems to imply that the long awaited sequel to Super DanganRonpa 2 may also be in in the works.
As of now, we do not have a release date for DanganRonpa: Another Episode or the possible third sequel in the mainline series.
