Compile Hearts first Vita game Monster Monpiece, is a card battling game with an ad-hoc feature and an online battle card system. The game features moe style fantasy monsters that over 50 artists are working on.
I can’t wait to see the female monster designs that they give us. It makes good use of the Vita’s touch screen by having players rub off the monster girls’ clothing. This is of course done for a reason: to expose each monsters weakness.
The monsters outfits will range from very clothed to slightly clothed. Some swimsuits will make an appearance as well. Players can get their hands on this game in Japan, sometime in 2013.
Monster Monpiece pictures left us wondering exactly what is going on. The game, which has been dubbed Mon-Mon, has an interesting storyline. From what we understand it follows the characters of Mei and her friends as they attend school in hopes to learn how to enslave monster sisters. The world in which they live, Yafanil, is inhabited by humans and a race known as monster daughters. The monster daughter race seems to have some unusual talents, which I am sure will help to aid them on their journey.
Attending school with Mei are her friends Elza and Karen, who all bring a little something special to the game. Mei has a shy and reserved air around her, on first glance. Elza, the leader type, is a hard worker who is also studying to become a monster daughter master. Karen, who has become cursed follows Elza and Mei around visiting various school institutions. Fear, who is the protagonist’s Partner and also a Fenrir, or special wolf breed, is a large and boisterous character.
Fans of Hyperdimension Neptunia will be pleased to hear that if you reserve Mon-Mon you will get a rare Neptune game card. Compile hearts also have plans to release a limited edition that will provide you with a PSN code granting you access to powerful monsters, an art book and a trading card.
