It seems Bravely Default & Project X Zone have one thing in common. They’re both being released in Japan this October; October 11th to be specific. Japan is getting two high profile JRPGs on the same day. Once again we can only hope we will hear an announcement for localization for both games as the release date gets nearer.
Project X Zone had more characters announced for the game as well, mainly: Imca from Valkyrie Chronicles 3, Flynn from Tales of Vesperia, Arthur from Ghosts’n Goblins, Princess Devilotte de DeathSatan IX from Cyberbots, and Rikiya Busujima from Zombie Revenge.
It was also stated that Bravely Default will get a Collectors Edition which will contain the game, the first print run of the game’s original soundtrack, an art album, an original protect case for the 3DS, and a life-sized AR poster. It will cost around 12,000 yen(150$ USD), while the standard will be priced around 6,090 yen(75.99$ USD). You can purchase the Collector’s Edition, which is sold exclusively, at Square’s eStore.
While Famitsu didn’t reveal too much more for Project X Zone, Bravely Default also has a demo out (Japan only) more or less to show off the game’s battle mechanics, and Square Enix released a new trailer you can check out on the game’s main website.
