While I have never been a huge fan of the Animal Crossing series, I know there are a lot of you out there who will appreciate the following trailer. This newest trailer for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, slated to release internationally on the 3DS this June, shows off more aspects of the game. It also does a remarkably scary job of coming across as one of those commercials that tries to persuade old folks to move into a retirement home. Regardless, the new game looks quite polished visually, and boasts new features such as allowing the main character to play as the Mayor, as well as allowing for more customization options and swimming in the nearby ocean. Until June, enjoy the following trailer.

Josh Speer
Josh is a passionate gamer, finding time to clock in around 30-40 hours of gaming a week. He discovered Operation Rainfall while avidly following the localization of the Big 3 Wii RPGs. He enjoys SHMUPS, Platformers, RPGs, Roguelikes and the occasional Fighter. He’s also an unashamedly giant Mega Man fan, having played the series since he was eight. As Head Editor and Review Manager, he spends far too much time editing reviews and random articles. In his limited spare time he devours indies whole and anticipates the release of quirky, unpredictable and innovative games.
