While not much new information at all was covered regarding Puppeteer at today’s Sony Conference, they were kind enough to provide a shiny new trailer! For those not in the know, players in Puppeteer control a young boy whose head has been severed from his body, which has been turned into a puppet by the magic and madness of the Moon King Bear. Stylistically it reminds me a lot of Little Big Planet, but seems to be more focused on story and exploration instead of open-ended world and character building.
Take a look at the new trailer and let us know what you think about this upcoming old school platformer!
Josh is a passionate gamer, finding time to clock in around 30-40 hours of gaming a week. He discovered Operation Rainfall while avidly following the localization of the Big 3 Wii RPGs. He enjoys SHMUPS, Platformers, RPGs, Roguelikes and the occasional Fighter. He’s also an unashamedly giant Mega Man fan, having played the series since he was eight. As Head Editor and Review Manager, he spends far too much time editing reviews and random articles. In his limited spare time he devours indies whole and anticipates the release of quirky, unpredictable and innovative games.
