Arc System Works Feature

Here’s some news that I’m really excited about, as a huge fan of the Guilty Gear series. Arc System Works, the developer of Guilty Gear and BlazBlue, announced the launch of an English-language website to become the hub for their operations in English-speaking regions. Check out the full press release below:

Arc System Works, the developer and publisher of high quality fighting games such as Guilty Gear and BlazBlue, today announced the launch of ArcSystemWorks.us, which is set up to be the information and social networking hub for Arc System Works’ operations in English speaking regions. Visitors to the site will be able to browse Arc System Works’ upcoming catalog of products and seamlessly share and connect with their friends through social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

“We have a very passionate and vocal fan base overseas, so we wanted to give them a direct link to our organization that we’ve never had before,” said Minoru Kidooka, president of Arc System Works. “Our hope is that gamers become a part of the dialogue as we begin developing our latest titles with their input in mind.”

Hopefully they keep this site up-to-date. Definitely a sign in the right direction for the Guilty Gear series, of which a new game, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, was released for the Xbox and PlayStation Vita as a download from the PlayStation Network just a few days ago, on April 23rd, 2013.

He's currently employed part-time at Toys"R"Us, sitting on that job to buff up his resume while applying for other jobs more relevant to his degree. Things that you might catch him doing on his time off include frequent trips to the movie theater, throwing down some new sketches for project ideas that will never see the light of day, or crying about having to go to work the next day. To break the lull of his tears, he likes to watch anime and try out new games, particularly MMOs. He's a huge Sailor Moon fanboy, but also gives a 10 out of 10 to shows like Arakawa Under the Bridge, Katanagatari, and Kids on the Slope.
