Earlier this morning, Pokemon sites like Bulbapedia and Serebii revealed some scans of the latest Corocoro magazine. In addition to a new evolution of Eevee, it was revealed that a new entry in the Pokemon Scramble franchise (or Pokemon Rumble for non-Japanese audiences) will be coming to the Wii U. Pokemon Scramble U will be a downloadable title that features all the Pokemon from the first five generations of games, it can have up to 4 players, and will be able to show up to 100 Pokemon on screen at the same time. It will be available in Japan this Spring.
There’s currently no word on whether Pokemon Scramble U will feature any new Pokemon from Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, what its multiplayer features exactly are, or what it’s price and international release dates will be. There’s also no definitive word on who will be developing this game. But unfortunately, it’s rumored to be developed by Ambrella, who also made earlier Pokemon Scramble games. This doesn’t imply greatness to most fans. Stay tuned for more on this.
