Nihon Falcom and GungHo Online Entertainment America have released a new gameplay trailer for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, the full 3D remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC. The gameplay trailer first shows a battle sequence from the original game and then shows the same scene from the remake. Thanks to the way the trailer is presented, the visual upgrade from the original to the remake has a lot more impact.

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is scheduled to launch Fall 2026 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter had two Steam versions, one from GungHo Online Entertainment America and the other by Clouded Leopard Entertainment. This time around, it looks like the Steam version will be unified and a collaborative effort between Nihon Falcom, GungHo Online Entertainment America, and Clouded Leopard Entertainment, according to the store page. Clouded Leopard Entertainment previously did the localizations (Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean) and PC ports for previous Trails games in Asian regions outside Japan.
