Nihon Falcom’s PSP crossover game, Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga, is getting remastered and ported to multiple new platforms including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store). Links are not available for the Nintendo Switch and Epic Games Store releases at this time. This game features playable characters from two of Nihon Falcom’s most memorable series, Ys and Trails. It includes the likes of Adol Christin, Estelle Bright, Dogi, Renne, and much more. Characters from other Falcom titles also make appearances as support characters. The remaster is being published by a new company, refint/games. It promises to have improvements and additions over the original including remastered graphics for HD and 4K screens, 60 FPS support, English voice acting, and more. It will have rollback netcode and the translation is based on the one done by The Geofront.
