Earlier today, Gematsu reported that Idea Factory International announced some disappointing news, some of their previously announced games will no longer be launching on Nintendo Switch in the West. Specifically, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2 Sisters Generation, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation and Death end re;Quest: Code Z will no longer be released on Switch in the West as originally planned. These games have already launched on Switch in Japan but are no longer being released here. However, IFI has promised Death end re;Quest: Code Z is still coming to PS4 and PS5 in 2025. Later on in response to Gematsu’s request for more information, Idea Factory International also stated that the content of these games simply didn’t comply with Nintendo’s guidelines and thus, they are unable to release them in the West either physically or digitally.
