Earlier today Nintendo had a Nintendo Direct dedicated exclusively to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. They announced a whole bunch of cool stuff. First of all, they announced that this upcoming update will be out on November 5th. Not only that, but it brings the game to version 2.0. They stated that this is the last, large free update we’ll get. No word yet on if there will still be additional smaller updates in the future. Some of the stuff they announced was, cooking is now a feature, you can increase your storage to a maximum of 5000 spaces, Kapp’n makes a return to take you on random island tours, there are a bunch of new hairstyles, you can permanently open up shops for some of the random visitors on Harv’s Island and much, much more. There was a ton of stuff to show off, so feel free to check it out down below if you missed the stream.
As a fan of Animal Crossing: New Horizons myself, I’m extremely excited for next month. Oh and one more thing, there will also be a $25 DLC expansion which adds Happy Home Paradise, a little Happy Home side game feature where you can create vacation homes for villagers as well as earn and bring back some decorating mechanics to use on your island in your own home. You can check out that video down below as well. If you’re a fan of Animal Crossing, let us know in the comments what you think of this upcoming update.
