UchiKano -Living with my Girlfriend- | The girlfriend

It’s that time of the month, the release of UchiKano is finally here. One of the most heartwarming stories of the year is here. To clarify, if you have not heard, this is a wonderful project from MOONSTONE. Now you may have heard of other titles they have done. That list includes the likes of Magical Marriage Lunatics or even Princess Evangile. Now they have another studio, and that studio is responsible for UchiKano. Something that hits the happy feels way more than any previous listing could. With all these intense story-driven adventures constantly coming out, something like UchiKano is a blessing. To be able to just settle down with your most wonderful childhood friend in a slice-of-life story is amazing. You can experience this yourself in all the wonderful artistic glory over at MangaGamer’s website. It’ll cost you $24.95. Well worth it if you ask me.

So what exactly is UchiKano -Living with my Girlfriend- about?

Tachibanaki Keisuke, a young man in his first year as a full-fledged member of society. While the company he works for is a small one, it’s the job he always wanted to do and his life is pretty satisfactory.

But even though he’s both motivated and has much to aspire for, he’s now living alone for the first time in his life, and it’s becoming a bit exhausting. It’s then, that a certain thought crosses his mind…

“If only I had a girlfriend…”

One day, his childhood friend, Matoi Ayame, arrives at his doorstep. Ayame’s parents had to move abroad for work, and Ayame had to stay behind because she had college entrance exams coming up. Her concerned parents – who are old friends of Keisuke’s family – ask Keisuke to let her stay with him.

And with that, their life under the same roof begins. As the two of them are drawn to each other, their relationship blossoms to something that’s beyond old friends…

We’d like to congratulate MangaGamer on the release. Please look forward to our review of UchiKano when it’s ready. Furthermore, make sure to check out the next MangaGamer release. I hear this one has horny elves in it. It might be worth your time.
