Nintendo Download for 7/15/2021

This week’s Nintendo Download includes a handful of featured games. First among them is of course The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. There are also a number of new retro games and visual novels in the eShop this week.

Featured Games

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD ($59.99) has arrived. The quest that started Hyrule’s long-running legend can now be played anywhere. You can even set out to rescue your childhood friend using button controls. Nintendo has added many other improvements to the Switch version, as well. In recent weeks they’ve dropped a series of trailers, ending with the new launch trailer:

Song for a Hero: Definitive Edition ($14.99) arrived on the Switch late last week. An unexpected hero must make his way through this very unique adventure. This edition contains the following extras:

Heavy Metal DLC “Songs for the Dead“
The DLC “Skin Pack”
The epilogue of the main campaign
The Samba DLC “Samba for a Hero“

Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective ($11.99) just launched today. This adventure puzzle game is adapted from the bestselling children’s book series, Pierre the Maze Detective. Your ultimate goal is to find and recover the Maze Stone. Unfortunately, it has gone missing after the evil Mr. X stole it!

Inspired by classic JRPGs, Cris Tales ($39.99) launches on July 20th. Delve into an adventure that explores how your choices ripple through time. The Time Mage, Crisbell, has awakened. The time has come for her to embark with her friends as a dark future threatens the world. Can you ensure the survival of Crystallis and the other kingdoms of this world?

Current Sales

This week the Nintendo Download has a few new sales to check out. That makes it a bit more active than last week.

The Ubisoft: Super Hot Summer Sale features 23 games up to 75% off. It runs until July 21st at 11:59 pm PT.

The 2K Summer Sale includes savings on 14 of their games and ends on July 25th at 11:59 pm PT.

The Resident Evil Franchise Sale slashes games in the series up to 75% off until July 21st at 11:59 pm PT.

Aerial Knights Never Yield is 10% off until July 20th at 11:59 pm PT.

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster is 30% off until July 18th at 11:59 pm PT.

This week’s Nintendo Download press release included a relatively big batch of new eShop games once more. The puzzle section is smaller this time, and we also have a new set of visual novels.
