Nintendo Direct Feb 2021: Samurai Warriors 5 Announced

During the Februrary 17, 2021 Nintendo Direct, Samurai Warriors 5 was revealed. The game is the latest iteration in the Samurai Warriors franchise. It’ll feature revamped character designs and visuals and focus on Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akechi. You can check out the announcement trailer below (trailer starts at 09:30 in the Direct).

In addition to the Nintendo Direct reveal, Koei Tecmo also announced that the game would be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam. They will also be playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility.
