Neopopcorn is preparing to launch the free 3000th Duel: The Wise Ones DLC in just a few short days from now. It is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch on September 30th. Steam gamers already got the update on August 26th. The press release says that the DLC expands the game world, which now contains over 150 regions and 60 types of monsters in all. They have also added new equipment and occults, as well as a harder new game+ mode. They’ve also dropped a new 3000th Duel: The Wise Ones trailer:
The post about the update on Steam says that the developers have also increased the level cap from 99 to 199, and added a monster archive feature. The map now has a new zoom feature, and the Steam version also got new achievements when this update launched there last month. There are of course also some other small improvements and fixes here and there.
You can find out more about 3000th Duel at the Official website, the Steam Store page, or the Switch eShop page. Note that the official website seems to be down at the time of this writing for some reason. You can also check out our review of the game earlier this year. It’s awesome that the 3000th Duel: The Wise Ones DLC is large and free, but I don’t think I’ll be returning to the game. Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like it has done much to help the issues I had with it when I wrote that review.
