Retro-style puzzle solving is alive and well in indie game Circuit Dude.
Players can help the titular hero build his ultimate secret invention by plugging in chips, pushing blocks, stepping on switches, rotating walls and so much more in this game featuring over 15 hours of gameplay and 120 levels. What’s he building? Players can discover the answer to that question by finishing the first 100 levels.
The aim of the game is simple: Guide Circuit Dude over every socket in order to plug in microchips. After all sockets are filled in, the exit portal activates and players can advance to the next level. But be careful! Once a chip is plugged into a socket, Circuit Dude can’t walk back over that spot. Players will need to be clever to navigate their way around the level without getting trapped by used tiles. Along the way, players can come across over 10 different and interesting tile mechanics, such as rotating walls, teleportation pads, buttons and switches, trap doors, blocks that need to be pushed, electric probes, conveyor belts, and more.
Developed by Jonathan Holmes, Circuit Dude also features an in-game level editor so players can build their own master contraptions and upload them to the Internet for others to experience.
