The Quintessential Quintuplets manga will end with its 14th volume Negi Haruba, the author of the manga, announced. The manga began publication in August 2017 and has 12 volumes in print, with the 12th volume releasing recently on November 15, 2019.

Negi Haruba later posted about how they wanted to draw a manga that would continue forever. But after starting serialization, they realized how difficult it was to keep a series going. Haruba went on to talk about how authors that draw dozens of volumes of manga are amazing.
この前友達と話して思い出したけど連載が決まる前の自分はずっと続く漫画を描くと意気込んでたらしい。始めてみてわかったけど続けることが一番大変。何十巻も描き続けてる先生方は本当に凄い。

Kodansha USA describes the manga’s story as follows:
Five girls who want to do anything but study, and their tutor: a high school boy who’s got book smarts and not much else. Futaro Uesugi took the tutoring gig because he was desperate for cash, but when his students—the five beautiful daughters of a wealthy businessman—find five times the excuses to slack off, what can he do?! At this rate, the sisters won’t graduate, so if he wants to get paid, Futaro must think of a plan to suit each of them … Which feels hopeless when five out of five of them think he’s a loser!
The Quintessential Quintuplets has inspired two TV anime seasons with the 2nd season scheduled to air in 2020. The manga is licensed for release in North America by Kodansha USA. The 14th and final volume is scheduled to release sometime in spring 2020.
